Welcome, Wild One

I know what it’s like.

I know what it's like to be the odd one out, the weirdo, the one that doesn't quite fit in or belong.

I know what it's like to trudge through life, feeling overwhelmed by all that I'm doing so that I can be seen as good enough.

I know what it's like to feel like I'll never be good enough.

I know what it's like to be filled with rage while trying to contain it and mask it.

I know what it's like to stand unflinching, in the face of someone else's rage, while my insides crumbled and hardened, knowing that I cannot show my weakness.

I know what it's like to feel completely out of control of my actions, body, and mind.

I know what it's like to be filled with an inexplicable deep, aching sadness.

I also know…

I also know what it's like to find those first moments of peace.
Like a spring bud, breaking way, against all odds.

I know what it's like to feel terrified of good things happening, because of anticipation of the other shoe to drop.

I know what it's like to realize that the other shoe is not going to drop.

I know what it's like to discover and rediscover myself. To realize that the beliefs I've held onto about myself and the world, were never my own to begin with.

I know what it's like to re-imagine a life that is truly my own.

I know what it's like to meet my Inner Child, the Sacred Rebel, and the Wild Woman within me, and to embrace them with open arms.

I know what it's like to soften into the knowing that these parts of me are my truest nature, not something to be tamed or shamed.

I know what it's like to peel off the layers of masks I've worn, hiding those parts of me.

I know what it's like to feel sunlight on my cheek and weightlessness in my heart. To know that I have found myself, and all is well.

I found solace and healing in yoga, which opened the doors to a whole spiritual community and way of being.

I continue to explore different modalities of self-development and spiritual development and I teach you what I know has worked for me.

I guide women seeking a deeper understanding of their wild nature. Through my yoga classes, womxn's circles, writing, and coaching, I create space for a loving discovery and remembrance of who you are beneath the masks you've worn and the walls you've built. I am your cheerleader and advocate to step into the world with the courage to live a life that is truly yours.
